They literally make two bathtubs, an inner shell and an outer shell. This process produces a tub with the same high-gloss shine inside and out. The multiple layers of materials make the tub almost a full inch thick - eliminating any flex or movement under normal circumstances. All bath tubs in the Champagne Collection have a 1.3 hp motor and a built-in automatic purge system to keep pipes dry and clean after each use. The access panel no longer houses the pump/blower, so there is no longer a large inch humpinch on the side of the tub. The access panel will allow you to access the hoses if needed. The pump/blower must be placed in an area other than on the tub, like in a bath cabinet or an inconspicuous space on the floor, where a GFI outlet is accessible. The pump's three-prong plug is 30inch long and operates on 120v/20amps. It alsoes with a wireless remote control that allows you to choose from three massage programs and three levels of intensity.
